Opening Balance Menu Item:  

By clicking on this menu item you will see a dialog box where you can add the opening balance entries for a party. Just click on this how it works


So this is where you can Add/Edit or Delete the opening balance entries of your parties. To add a record click the Add Button or press Alt+A from your keyboard. This will show a new entry in the grid then select desired party and type the desired amount in either Debit or Credit field and then click “Save” button to save and exit.

Add: this button will add a new blank record to the grid so that you can enter a new Op. Bal entry.


Delete: If you wish to delete an Entry then select the entry in the Grid (By clicking on that entry) and then click this button to remove the entry .


Save: This button will save your changes and close this window.


Print: This will print the records if any Printer is attached to your computer.


Exit: Click this button if you wish to close this window. If you have made any changes then click the Save button instead.


Click the save button to save your entries and it will also close this window.

Remember, the total of Debit (Of all the records) and the total of credit (of all the records) must be same in order to continue.
