Financial Ledger
This menu item will lead you to the Net Payable/ Receivable Reporting Module where this report is just the same as the Cash/Bank book report we have seen in previous chapter. The only difference is this report only contains the transactions from the journal Vouchers so we have not included this report in our tutorial.
Here you can make your selections as per your requirements. Read all the call out carefully and click the ok button
In this section you can choose a period for which the Ledger is to be generated. By default the period is set to the Financial Year (as described in Company/ Finance Details).
In this section you can choose the parties which you want to include in the report. Either you choose the “All” option or you can choose the “Selective” option and then select the parties from the list or you can select the parties from the list or you can select the “Range” option and then you have to type the Starting Party Code and Ending Party Code in the “From” and “To” sections.
You can choose the groups which you want to include in the report. Either you choose the “All” option or you can choose the “Selective” options and then select the Groups from the list or you can select the “Range” option and then you have to type the Starting Group Code and Ending Group Code in the “From” and “ To” sections.
You can choose the schedules which you want to include in the report. Either you choose the “All” option or you can choose the “Selective “option then select the schedule from the list or you can select the “Range” option and then you have to type the Stating Schedule Code and Ending Schedule Code in the “From” and “To” sections”
There are four items in the section
1) Detailed Narration: Check this option if you want the Detailed Narration to be print (if any) in the report.
2) Staring Page No. : Type the number from here the page numbering will be started.
3) Print Conformation: (Do not understand).
4) Line spacing between each entry. Type the number of lines you want to leave blank between the entries.
In this section you can change the Interest Calculation. If you want to calculate interest on Debit Amount then elect the “Only Dr”. Option or if you wish to calculate it on only Credit Amounts then elect the “Only Cr”. Option or elect the “Balance” option if you want to calculate the interest on only “Balance” amounts .Type a rate of interest (%) in the “Interest Rate” section or leave it as “0:00” if you don’t want the interest to be calculate.
In this section you can choose which kind of entries you may like to show in this report. Choose “All Entries” if you wish or choose “Only Bills” you want to print only the entries which comes from your trading bills or you can choose the “Only Finance” to display only the entries which come from the Vouchers/Cash/Bank/Journal Books
In this section you can select the method of output which is know to you choose it according to your requirements and then click the “OK” button or press “Alt + O” from your key board
